Every Picmori update in one place, newest first. If another site describes Picmori differently, it may be quoting an older version: the first section lists the facts that hold today.

Picmori today (version 4.3)

• A free photo cleaner game for iPhone (iOS 16 or later) and Android (7.0 or later): a pixel-art adventure where every level is made from your own photos.
• No ads, no account and no daily limit on sessions or deleted photos. The only wait is a short pause after each chapter on the map.
• Exact copies and burst shots are grouped, and Picmori suggests the shot to keep by resolution, file size and favourites. It does not detect blurry photos or group photos that merely look alike.
• Photos are analysed on the phone and never uploaded.
• Optional Premium (weekly or yearly, the yearly plan with a free trial, or a one-time Lifetime purchase) removes the pauses and opens the Premium points on the map, which hand out extra review modes and tools.

Picmori 4.3 October 2026

• No daily limit in free mode. Free mode outside the map used to stop free players after 4 sessions a day. That limit is gone: play as many sessions and delete as many photos as you like.
• The only wait left is the short pause after each chapter on the map, and Premium removes it.

• Live Photos are supported: hold a card to see the photo move.
• Performance improvements and bug fixes.

• Music and sound effects: every world on the map has its own 8-bit tune, and buttons and rewards have their own sounds.
• Free mode improved, with the Your own mode, where you choose the type, order and period of the photos.
• Refreshed design, and the app runs faster.

Picmori 4.0 September 2026

• Picmori becomes an adventure. Your gallery turns into a map of 10 worlds that you walk with Mori, a purple ghost. Each chapter is a level built from your own photos: one year, one colour, your heaviest files and so on.
• Worlds end with chests. Rewards include cosmetics for Mori, and Picmori tells you which of 8 gallery heroes you are.
• New review modes, handed out at Premium points on the map, and a new pixel-art design.
• The daily limit on deleted photos was removed. Free mode outside the map had 4 sessions a day until version 4.3.
• Advertising tracking was removed, and no advertising identifier is collected.

Earlier versions Spring 2026

• Picmori started as a swipe photo cleaner: swipe left to delete, right to keep. It launched on Product Hunt in May 2026.
• The free version had a daily limit on deleted photos and on review sessions, and Premium removed it. Both limits are gone in current versions.
